When good players go crazy...

They play limit hold 'em.

I've never played a more frustrating but seemingly profitable game in my life. I only played a few hundred hands at $2/4 and $3/6 shorthanded today, but people were calling down with bottom pair, so I'm pretty sure this is a good game to make money in.

If I can maintain my sanity I might actually get good at limit again.

The kid's back

After a while without playing I'm back in the game full time now. I shipped $1183 in rakeback last month and that pretty much saved my confidence and my roll.

FTP has new 50% PLHE 50% PLO games that I really am enjoying. I find that people misplay one of the two games horribly a majority of the time. It also prevents boredom for me as the game switches every 10 hands. Now if FTP would only get resizable tables they would be a grinder's heaven.

I'm going to get back to posting more often, especially over break where I'm going to play as much as I can. I am planning on playing some 10/20 fixed limit at Soaring Eagle over break as well as maybe checking out their $165 freeze-out MTT.

Lastly, happy holidays to everyone who reads this. I hope you enjoy your time at home with your families but look out for KillerSanta24 who is shipping it all over the map lately.

I want to grind

I never thought I'd say this... but I want to gring SNG's for a while. My cash game skills aren't very sharp right now and I really didn't enjoy my break-even play for the last 10 days of November. Right now cash game stress is a little bit too much for me.

That being said, my goal is to develop the skills necessary to crush the turbo SNG's on Stars. Right now I basically suck and I am running horribly on the bubble but I look forward to getting better and watching both my ROI and $/hr grow. My goal is a pretty modest 20% ROI with 6 to 8 tabling. I would like to become one of those guys that when people sit down in a $16 or $27 they Sharkscope me and are impressed.

I'll try to post some interesting HH here. They will probably be more situational than past HH's, but I think by posting and explaining my moves in turbos it can only help my game.
